Cetrelia  olivetorum (Nyl.) W.L.Culb. et C.F.Culb.
Status of species A very rare species. Registered in the Red Data Book of Sweden and in the Lists of endangered lichens species in Austria, Poland, Finland and Germany.
Distribution Rare in the eastern part of Latvia.
Habitat An epiphytic lichen growing on deciduous trees in mixed and deciduous forests.
Occurance Singly specimens occur on deciduous trees.
Reproduction By spores.
Changes in number and distribution The first indication of the existance of this species in Latvia was in 1870 (A. Bruttan), no locality indicated. Later found in Numerne forest near Donikova in 1957 (A. Piterāns). Its development is greatly affected by human's economic activity (wood cutting) and by increased pollution.

Suggestions for study Lichen biology and dynamics of population development should be studied. Its state should be checked.
