Found for the first time in Latvia in Mazirbe, on sandy dune soil (E.
Vimba, 1956), and on seaside dunes at Pape (A. Piterāns, A. Žeiviniece,
1974). It is negatively affected by environmental pollution. |

Decision Nr 107, 1987 by the Council of Ministers of the Latvian SSR.
A locality is known in Slītere reserve, in the coastal dune zone. Red Data
Book of Latvia, 1985. |

Lichen biology and dynamics of population development should be studied.
Its distribution should be defined. |
