Found for the first time in Latvia in Mazsalaca (A. Bruttan, 1870),
in Slītere reserve in 1972 and in the valley of Brasla (A. Piterāns, 1983).
It is negatively affected by environmental pollution and changes in biotope. |

Decision Nr 107, 1987 by the Council of Ministers of the Latvian SSR.
Localities are known in Slītere reserve and Gauja National Park. RDB of
Latvia, 1985. |

Lichen biology and dynamics of population development should be studied.
Its distribution should be defined. |
