in the Lists of endangered lichens species in Poland, Germany, Austria
and Denmark. |

Central and western parts of Latvia. |
Habitat |
Occurs on sandstone and dolomite cliffs, often in cliff recesses or
fissures. |

Singly specimens occur. |

Changes in number and distribution |
Found for the first time in Latvia in the Daugava valley near Staburags
(A. Bruttan, 1870). |
Existing protection |
Decision Nr 107, 1987 by the Council of Ministers of the Latvian SSR.
Localities are known in the territory of Gauja National Park. Red Data
Book of Latvia, 1985. |
Suggestions for study |
Lichen population and ecology should be studied. Its distribution should
be defined. |
